The Cherry tomatoes are rounded tomatoes.  In addition, it is a cross breed between wild currant-type tomatoes and home garden tomatoes.

Cherry tomatoes range in size from a thumb tip up to the size of a golf ball. Also, they can range from being spherical to slightly oblong in shape. They are bite-size treats perfect for salads and skewers.
